Established in 2007, Illuminati brings together students who are passionate to learn, from a variety of courses in the college, and gives them a platform to enhance their critical thinking, research, and presentation skills. It aims to dispel the myth that quizzing is meant only for those who possess a repertoire of mugged up facts. Since its inception, Illuminati has maintained a constant presence in the circuit, and it has made its mark in many prestigious institutions across the country. We have managed to carve out a unique legacy in the circuit and we have successfully established ourselves as one of the most prestigious quizzing societies of the circuit.
Illuminati conducts a written entrance test as a part of its recruitment process. Questions cover anything and everything that comes under the sun (and above), whether it’s about the business of music or the music of business. We induct members not only on the basis of their scores, but also after assessing their strengths. Even if a person doesn’t know the answer to a question, we can evaluate their thinking process by the answers given.
If you often find yourself obsessing over the career stats of LeBron James or dissecting the filmography of Stanley Kubrick, then we will give you a platform to use your passion for an activity that can be highly competitive at times, but insanely entertaining and rewarding too. You also get an opportunity to represent your college and add feathers to the college’s cap. Making and hosting quizzes is a great chance to improve your presentation skills and it certainly boosts your confidence. There is no better feeling than receiving appreciation for a quiz you hosted. Lastly, all quizzes have prizes to offer (and in some cases, very enticing), and if you’re good, quizzing can really earn you a good amount of money.
