NAAC Grade A++ with CGPA 3.71 NIRF Rank # 12 (Amongst Colleges)Srishti Chetna - The Zoological Society of Hansraj College works to nurture academic and scientific knowledge in the students and help in their overall development. Srishti Chetna begins its session with 'Zoophoria' to welcome the new batch of Zoology freshers. It organizes regular national and international seminars, webinars and workshops on various topics. Students are always encouraged to engage themselves in project works and research papers which incline them towards research and innovation. Several training sessions are organized regularly which imbibe additional skills in the students. Such activities provides students with immense and diverse knowledge which in turn improve their academic performance.
The Zoological department has well equipped labs and museums which focus on inculcating practical knowledge and help build scientific aptitude. Every year students organize 'Alice in Zooland' - The annual cultural fest of the zoology department with great zeal. The graduating batch is bid a hearty farewell at the end of the session.
After bidding farewell to the batch of 2021, Srishti Chetna started afresh by electing its new council team. On 25th September, 2021 a webinar entitled 'Practice of Medicine in India' was organised. An International webinar entitled 'Human Diversity, Immune Response and Cancer' was organized on 1st October, 2021 under the guidance of speaker, Dr. Anil Shankar, professor at Mcharry Medical College, USA. The society organised a three days workshop from 16th -18th October, 2021 on 'Nutritional Awareness and Physical Fitness' which included talks of three different resource persons followed by different activities like cooking and poster making competition. The society organised another International webinar on 'Global peace and power of positivity' on 23rd October, 2021 headed by Prof. (Dr.) Madhu Krishnan. Keeping in mind the global problem of plastic waste, Srishti Chetna in collaboration with IQAC organized an awareness session entitled 'Bottles for Change' on 29th October, 2021. One of the most enjoyed International Webinar on 'Worlds of Insects' was organised on 12th November, 2021 in which three different speakers shared their knowledge. To welcome the new batch, an interactive 'Orientation Program' was organised on 22nd November, 2021 in which all the teachers and council members wished good luck to the upcoming students.
