About the cell

Gender Equality Cell is basically a close-knit group of individuals from within and outside the queer community. We have been actively working as a society in Hansraj college for the past couple years. The central idea behind everything that we do is to provide a space which gives people the freedom to be themselves in their most beautiful forms without the fear of being discriminated in any way. That being said, our efforts have attracted more and more people from college to be a part of us. Right now, we are about a happy 100 people! What we do mostly includes informal and formal meetups, seminars and talks by representatives from the LGBTQAI+ community, movie screenings that feature films related to the community or other related concepts and college fests celebrating the colors that reside in all of us. Most importantly, we have a lot of fun and a great learning and supportive atmosphere!
