Thesis Title: Investigation of Molecular Mechanism(s) of STAT3-Mediated Regulation of HPV Infection and Cervical Carcinogenesis

Salient features of Ph.D. research work
Cervical cancer is a major threat among women in the developing countries, which is caused by the persistent infection of high-risk human papillomaviruses (HR-HPVs). The Ph.D. research work entitled 'Investigation of Molecular Mechanism(s) of STAT3-Mediated Regulation of HPV Infection and Cervical Carcinogenesis' provides a comprehensive analysis of JAK-STAT signaling components in cervical cancer patients tissue biopsy samples. Further, the interaction of HR-HPVs with Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) was established in order to understand the role of STAT3 in transcriptional regulation of HR-HPVs.
