The Department of Philosophy, Hansraj college aims to help students develop not only their philosophical understanding but also help them in the improving their overall personality. The department along with using the conventional method of teaching also uses other methods like seminars, debates, group discussions for the overall development of students. Through these modes of learning the department has been able to create a space for critical thinking and philosophical understanding. As we know this subject is not taught in many schools our students come to us with fresh and receptive minds. By using these methods we try to engage students with the subject so that they can understand the practical applicability of the concepts that they study.
