We are a mix of young and seasoned teachers, theorists, researchers and authors who are also practising critics, activists and consultants in their own fields. Building on their competencies regularly they make the department a dynamic space rich in engagement and interrogation. Our publications, projects, grants, fellowships and award bear testimony to our research, pedagogic and associated expertise. Perhaps that is what earns us invitations to  lecture, conduct workshops and present and participate in events in other national and international institutions. Regular participation in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and other learning avenues as a means of upgrading and keeping abreast with the times is a practice here.

All this  adds  on  to  our  regular  responsibility  of  devising  systems for various levels of  undergraduate  teaching,  testing,  evaluation  and  collecting and processing feedback. We also populate  various  Committees  both  at  the College as well as the University level and contribute to the corporate life of the College and the University in various capacities.
