I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Hansraj College, University of Delhi, and a researcher in the field of development economics. As part of my PhD thesis at South Asian University, I examined how different facets of structural transformation affect the scale and nature of women's work in rural India. I have published my work on various themes including women's work, changes in labor laws, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in peer-reviewed journals and other platforms.

During my PhD, I developed and refined my quantitative research skills, working extensively with various panel and cross-sectional datasets. I also presented my research findings at several national and international conferences.

Before joining Hansraj College in November 2024, I was teaching at Hindu College, University of Delhi, from 2021 to 2024. I am looking forward to collaborating on projects addressing crucial development issues, particularly in the realms of gender, labor markets, and rural development.
